“When meditation is mastered, the mind is unwavering like the flame of a lamp in a windless place. In the still mind, in the depths of meditation, the Self reveals itself. Beholding the Self by means of the Self, an aspirant knows the joy and peace of complete fulfillment. Having attained that abiding joy beyond the senses, revealed in the still mind, they never swerve from the eternal truth. They desire nothing else and cannot be shaken by the heaviest burden of sorrow.
The practice of meditation frees one from all affliction. This is the path of yoga. Follow it with determination and sustained enthusiasm. Renouncing wholeheartedly all selfish desires and expectations, use your will to control the senses. Little by little, through patience and repeated effort, the mind will become still in the Self.”

Marcelly's Yoga History
I discovered and started practicing Yoga around 2015, during the years I was living in Berlin, Germany, where I went to find my (new)self. It was love at first sight. I started my practice alone, and it took two more years until I found my first Yoga Master, Dhira Krsna Das, a devotee and director of São Paulo’s Temple of the Vrinda Mission, a Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition under the direction of Srila Bhaktikavi Atulananda Acharya Swami in Brazil. It was then that I immersed myself in an intensive 18-month journey of studies and earned a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate. That was just the beginning of my further studies.
In 2020, I started my journey into Indian Classical Dance, through which I am able to explore other facets of Yoga and dive into Hindu mythologies and devotional dance.
Currently, I follow, practice, and am certified in a 200-hour Teacher Training in Sampoorna Hatha Yoga through the teachings of the self-realized master Sri Yogi Hari.
I happily dedicate myself to spreading the message and practices of Yoga to anyone who is interested. Are you?
